The MMS-W is a molding system for single single sided products in MAP, such as BGA, QFN etc. The machine was especially developed for molding process parameter optimization. By making use of the original molds, new products can be developed and optimized prior to large scale production. Besides that, the MMS-W can be used for small production batches or offline cleaning of the molds that are used in the AMS-W. The user friendliness of the MMS-W creates the opportunity to quickly introduce new products by making use of test molds. As on the automatic version, several optional systems can be used on the MMS-W, to even enhance the field of use.

User friendly operation

The MMI has a user friendly interface. During production, the operator is assisted by the MMI with messages. The input given by the operator can either be entered on the MMI touch screen or by making use of the keyboard, with integrated track ball. Context sensitive help on the machine allows easy and very fast access to all manuals of the machine. Mold exchange can be carried out very easily by the operator. No excessive force is needed to change over to another product. The standard hand vacuum cleaner automatically switches on when picked up and is situated directly near the operator.

Compatibility

The MMS-W can run with all AMS‑W molds. It uses the same patented floating clamping system, the topedge molding principle and also has different temperature zones in the mold. This dynamic temperature control ensures short curing times. All items result in a high product quality.
